SPORTS & LEISURE RESEARCH GROUP President Jon Last invites you to join him for two dynamic presentations based on brand new consumer research at the 2011 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida:

THURSDAY, JANUARY 27TH
Join Golfsmith and The Sports Illustrated Golf Group to learn the results of a recently completed study of nearly 6,000 golfers on custom club fitting. SLRG's Jon Last will present the findings from this significant new research that demonstrates a new paradigm in golf equipment retailing. The presentation and press conference will also include a moderated panel discussion of industry experts and will take place from 2:00pm to 3:00pm in Orange County Convention Center Room 202A. To RSVP for this event, please email Meda Rosca at Sports Illustrated Golf Group

FRIDAY, JANUARY 28TH
SLRG President Jon Last will share the findings of SPORTS & LEISURE RESEARCH GROUP's annual Golf Consumer outlook study as the invited guest speaker for Sports Illustrated Golf Group's breakfast to be held in OCCC Room 202A at 8:45am on Friday, January 28th. In what has become an annual show tradition, the latest forward looking golfer attitudes and perceptions about golf retail, the economy and participation in the year ahead, will be culled from a study just fielded among nearly 1,000 core and avid golfers. This year's study will also include an outlook for private golf clubs, derived from new consumer research with a sample of country club members. SI Golf Group will be sending invitations, and those readers of this newsletter interested in attending, can reach out to Meda Rosca at Time, Inc., to confirm attendance.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 29TH
At 9:15 am, PGA of America Senior Director of Association and Industry Services Paul Metzler and PGA Master Professional Mark Black will present “Increase your Customer Satisfaction Through Golfer Portraits”, which will include highlights from SLRG's new 2011 Golfer Portraits Study, recently completed for the PGA of America. The session, which is being offered as part of the 2011 PGA Merchandise Show Conference, will take place in OCCC Room 101B. You can obtain further information about the conference program on the PGA show website.

We hope to see many of you at the show and invite you to reach out to us via our website or via email for more information on any of these presentations or to schedule an appointment at the show.
